Manuscript copy of a long letter from Henry Montagu, first Earl of Manchester, at that time the Lord Privy Seal of England and Wales, to his son Edward Montagu, second Earl of Manchester. This letter is preceded by the son's letter to his father. Both letters concern the Protestant religion. Written in 17th-century script, and bound in limp vellum.
